During our high school guy’s small group, we were we talking about Philippians 2. Jesus, in the nature of God becomes man. Beauty. True humble, selfless beauty.
In order to help them grasp the passage, I asked the students to imagine what it would be like to be God.
“Friggin a flying white horse!,” Bryce proclaimed with wide eyes and pure wonder in his eyes.
“Yes, with a flowing mane of justice!,” added Alex almost immediately.
I love my students. AND, maybe smell a small group seal cooking.
